The Mysterious Package

After Norma got married, she moved into a low – cost rental house in the northern suburb of the city with her husband. One evening, after work, Norma unexpectedly found a package in front of her door. Inside the package was a square box sealed with tape. Norma picked up the box and took it home.

Norma opened the box. There was a small wooden box inside, with a red button inlaid on it. A round glass cover protected the button. Norma tried to lift the glass cover but failed as it was locked. Her curiosity was piqued. She turned the box around and found a note stuck to the bottom, which read: Mr. Stand will visit you at 8 p.m. tonight.
