Photocopied Lottery Tickets chapter 3
by Michael BeanLucy said: “The numbers of this lottery ticket are the combination of the birthdays of my family of three. I’ve been buying it for three years, and I’ve kept all the lottery tickets. I can go home and get them right away. Also…” Lucy stared directly at the young boss, “Can you explain why there are my husband’s fingerprints on this lottery ticket?” The young boss was stunned for a moment and replied: “You and your husband came to pester me early this morning, insisting on seeing what the winning lottery ticket looked like. I couldn’t stand you, so I took it out for you to see. It’s very normal for your husband’s fingerprints to be on it.” Lucy immediately asked: “My daughter has never been here, right? Why are there my daughter’s fingerprints on the lottery ticket?” The young boss replied: “The little girl who came in with you this morning, wearing a skirt and with a ponytail, shouted as soon as she came in, ‘Mom, I also want to see the winning lottery ticket.'”
After hearing the young boss’s answer, Lucy couldn’t help laughing: “First, my husband couldn’t have come with me because he took the 7 a.m. train on a business trip. Second, I don’t have a daughter. I only have a son, and I sent him to kindergarten at 7:30 a.m. I have the kindergarten pick – up card as proof. Do you have any other explanations? If not, just the fingerprints alone can prove that this lottery ticket is mine.”
