Can a phone kill someone?

Only then did Sam realize that he had fallen into a trap set by the other person. He was so angry that he stammered, “You… What… What do you mean by doing this?”

“Very simple,” the other person replied straightforwardly, “I want you to confess all the bad things you’ve done in the past.”

“Absolutely impossible!” At this moment, Sam really wanted to kill the other person with a knife.

The other person wouldn’t let him off easily: “You have no choice. The police are surrounding you.” Sam glanced outside the booth and saw that more than a dozen policemen were approaching him with guns. “You can’t threaten me. I don’t have a gun. The police will believe me.”

“Click!” The sound of a gun being cocked came from the phone. “Do you also want to feel the power of this gun? Now look at your chest. There’s a small red dot moving there. As long as I press the trigger here, you’ll fall to the ground like the young man.”

Sam quickly looked down. Sure enough, there was a small red dot moving on his chest. In an instant, an unprecedented fear filled every cell of his body: “Please, spare me. I don’t want to die.”

“If you don’t want to die, do as I say. You can’t put down the phone now!”

At this time, the police had reached the door of the phone booth. Sam was so scared that he shouted, “Don’t come in. I’m on a very important call.”

The police didn’t believe him: “You’re still on the phone at this time? Who are you talking to?”

“Don’t worry about it…” Sam’s voice was full of sobs.

The police said, “Sir, I hope you understand that if you don’t hand over the gun right away, we won’t let you go today.”

Sam said, “I really didn’t kill anyone. I don’t have a gun. It’s all this damned phone! But I can’t go out now. If I do, I’ll be killed immediately. Really!”

Just as Sam finished speaking, the voice on the phone came again: “Your excuse is so ridiculous. Can a phone kill someone? You say you don’t have a gun. Then what’s that in the steel – plate sandwich above your head?”
