Framing the Vampire

Beckon returned to his room and stared at Lucy in disbelief. He never expected to encounter such a terrifying event during this trip. In the next two hours, the power in the hotel was cut off twice, and two more bodies drained of blood were found, the hysterical tourist and the hotel manager.

Beckon sat on the sofa and thought for a while. He knew there were no vampires in the world. The vampire was just an ancient legend. There was probably only one explanation for what had happened today – there was a psychopathic killer in the hotel, randomly choosing innocent victims.

Beckon wasn’t afraid of the killer. In fact, he was a fan of free fighting and a taekwondo expert. If the killer came to kill him, it was still uncertain who would win. Beckon looked up and saw Lucy lying on the bed. She was tired and asleep after the scare. Suddenly, a bold idea came to his mind – he decided to kill Lucy in the hotel and frame it on Count Dracula, the King of Vampires.

He wasted no time! Beckon stood up abruptly, walked to Lucy, reached out and grabbed her neck. The strength in his hand grew stronger. He had already planned that after strangling Lucy, he would drag the body into the bathroom, use Lucy’s hairpin to make two blood holes in her neck and let all the blood out. When the power was cut off next time, he would scream loudly to attract other tourists. By then, everyone would think Lucy was killed by the soul of Count Dracula. And the police who came later would only think it was the work of a psychopathic serial killer.

Thinking of this, a smile appeared on Beckon’s face, distorting his features. He watched Lucy struggling helplessly, with less and less strength. It seemed his plan was about to succeed. Then, he could start a new life when he got back to London.
