The Flight over the Bermuda Triangle chapter 2
by Nicholas EverettThe Deadly Diamond Ring
When Jenny brought the coffee to Clinton, at first he shook his head and said he didn’t want anything. But after Jenny’s repeated invitations, he finally took the cup, but only with his left hand. His right hand still rested on the armrest. Jenny smiled and started chatting with him. Suddenly, she stopped and pointed out of the window. “Look at that cloud!” While Clinton turned to look out of the window, Jenny tilted the cup, and a few drops of hot coffee landed on his arm. He swore and lifted his right hand, then quickly put it back. That was enough. Jenny clearly saw the stain!
Everything was clear. Now the problem was how to get the magazine back. Just then, the flight purser called her again. “Jenny, did you buy anything at the airport? I need to fill out the customs declaration form.”
