{{Extraordinary Vow}} chapter 3
by David EricksonA Heavenly Romance
Maybe it was the power of love. Lena, who was declared by the doctor to have little hope of survival, actually recovered miraculously. On the day she was discharged from the hospital, Harris kept his vow and held a wedding with her. Unexpectedly, after they got married, Harris didn’t get a terminal illness like the previous two times. He was both surprised and extremely grateful.
One day, Harris and Lena were sorting out Lena’s old things together and found an old photo. Harris was shocked to find his own childhood figure in it. Lena told him that this was a photo of her when she was a child with her little friend Nori. Later, Nori moved away, and they never contacted each other again.
“My God! What a coincidence!” Harris told Lena that his childhood name was Nori and he changed his name when he was eighteen. They were both very excited to find that they were childhood friends. They talked about the naughty things they did when they were kids. When talking about climbing the church wall together, Lena said with a smile, “Do you remember the vow you made in the church? You said you would marry me when you grew up, and if you broke the vow, you would get sick. Do you remember?” Harris nodded and said he remembered. Suddenly, he thought of something and suddenly understood. The vow he made to Lena when he was a child was that strange unfulfilled vow! And now that he had married Lena and fulfilled the vow, maybe that was why he didn’t get sick again.
“This is really an extraordinary, strange and extremely effective vow!” Harris sighed with emotion and couldn’t help hugging his beloved wife tightly.
