In the shadow of the Vietnam War, a mother’s heart hangs by a thread. Marianne’s son Jerry vanished five months ago after being sent to the war – torn land. One fateful evening at the movies, a documentary shows a prisoner of war with a back eerily similar to Jerry. Marianne’s world stops as she yearns for that figure to turn around.
