A Chess Master

After college, Tom returned to his small – town hometown to care for his ailing parents and just took the county tax – bureau civil service exam. One day after dinner, his dad, an excellent chess player, suddenly asked about his chess skills and then dragged him out. They ended up at a mysterious place. When the door opened, Tom was shocked to find it was an underground chess – gambling den with high – stakes games. His dad pushed him to play. With a stack of money in front of him, Tom was hesitant.
