The Vampire Legend

It was already night when they reached Count Dracula’s Castle. Beckon and Lucy entered a hotel. Beckon looked back thankfully. The damned wandering artist didn’t follow in. He led Lucy straight to the hotel restaurant. There were many people in the restaurant, mostly tourists from tour groups. A tour guide was vividly telling the story of Count Dracula, the King of Vampires. Beckon and Lucy curiously squeezed into the crowd to listen.

The tour guide said mysteriously, “Do you know? Count Dracula, the King of Vampires, is not really dead. His soul has been wandering outside the castle. Once he finds a suitable host for his soul, he’ll bite on the person’s neck and suck all the blood out of the body. When the body is found, there will be two blood holes in the neck and all the blood in the body will have disappeared mysteriously…”
