Row 18, Seat 1 chapter 1
by Kelly Blair{{The Horrifying Legend
The Grand Opera House was built in 1926 and is the only theater in Elmwood Town. It has a mysterious legend that is well – known within a radius of dozens of miles.
One winter night in 1940, the Grand Opera House was staging the play “Fight in the Dark”. The notorious gangster, Jack Thompson, came to watch the show with his henchmen. Seat 18 in the first row, the most comfortable and most expensive seat in the theater, was naturally reserved for him. In the middle of the play, the actor playing Ren Tanghui suddenly waved his hand, and a big knife flew like lightning and stabbed straight into Jack Thompson’s chest. In an instant, the gangster met his end. After that, no one dared to sit in that seat.
