Early in the morning, Old Man Johnson set off on his ox – cart to deliver vegetables to the city before 9 o’clock. But when he reached the city, the sun was high. Just as he was in a hurry, the old ox suddenly stopped in the middle of the street and defecated. A round – faced man in uniform then appeared, fining him $50.
