Those Who Risk Their Lives

by Sandra Houston

In the old – fashioned town in the United States, the drill ground outside the north gate is a place full of macabre secrets. It’s not only for military parades and training but also an execution ground. And here, strange “life – selling” and “life – buying” farces often play out. One fateful day in 1935, four supposed “corpses” lie in a pool of blood. But shockingly, one of them blinks! As the evil prison matron Mrs. Thompson and two policemen arrive to collect the bodies, little does she know that a live man is feigning death among them. What kind of crazy and comical story will unfold in the jailhouse? Read on to find out!
